Australia’s Internet Law
[ send me this paper ]

Avoid Wal-Mart!
[ send me this paper ]
A 3 page speech whose purpose is to convince the audience that it should not shop at Wal-Mart. Shoppers may pay low prices for a time, but they can be certain prices will rise in the future. In the meantime, they can pay the taxes that increase as communities find themselves with the need to provide health care or food stamps to Wal-Mart employees, who work full time but cannot earn a living wage. A full boycott of Wal-Mart likely is impractical, but shoppers should make every effort to purchase as many items as possible from other retailers. Brady Westwater's Criticism Overpowers Mike Davis’s Sinking Los Angeles
[ send me this paper ]
Brady Westwater has not been taken seriously by east coast observers when he makes a strong argument against Mike Davis’s account of a bleak, futuristic Los Angeles unsuitable for living. Yet, Westwater’s account of the facts make much more sense to the common observer than Davis’s account, particularly in light of the fact that Westwater has the acumen to use Davis’s so-called extensively researched facts against him. Looking at Westwater’s bigger picture, his extensive argument against the native son aspect of Mike Davis’s L.A. outlook seems to be a waste of time. A short mention would have sufficed, but this does not dilute the finer points of his greater argument, particularly in relationship to the Bunker Hill information. 3 references. jvWestwt.rtf

Business, No Model for Government
[ send me this paper ]
Without checks and balances through layered systems of governance, anyone with adequate money, power and resources could run roughshod over his competition, annihilate it, and assume the position of power. This has been the case in third world countries, and it has also been the basis of historic capitalistic endeavors, including those serving the politics of Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler, to name two. For this reason, application of business strategy is undeniably the most dangerous consideration for any government. No sources. jvNoBizg.rtf

Censorship In School Is Not Right
[ send me this paper ]
6 pages in length. To be told what is permissible reading material and what is not is a direct violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution. Yet all across the country, school library shelves are being stripped of books that certain individuals and groups deem as unacceptable. Censorship is alive and well in the United States; its ripple effect on America's students is often as damaging as reading one of many so-called controversial books. The writer reveals why censorship in today's schools is both a violation of First Amendment rights, as well as a ploy for radicals and liberals alike to control the minds of our children. Bibliography lists 12 sources.

Cheerleaders and Dancers
[ send me this paper ]
A 3 page paper comparing and contrasting some of the actions of dancers and cheerleaders, written from the perspective that cheerleaders are inferior in every respect. Most larger cheerleading squads interject an interlude of something they call dance into their routines, but the definition of this dance is that it is different in form from throwing friends into the air and then jumping up and down. The cheerleader’s dance is evidence that the language needs at least one more word. Meeting attendees can table an issue or they can leave items on a table as they leave a room. There is as much similarity in those actions as there is in the dance of a dancer and that of a cheerleader. No sources.
